MONEMVASIA Ampelofilos - Friend of Vineyard
Monemvasia Local Wine – DRY WHITE
Roditis, one of the oldest and most widespread Greek grape varieties, has been harmoniously combined with the intensively aromatic and elegant white propensities of Moschofilero, generating an impressively expressive wine. Pleasurable until the last drop, it optimizes the dynamics of each indigenous variety by unfolding sophisticated aromatics. Revealing its maximum grace when it is in its early youth, it offers spirited freshness, bright color, pleasant acidity and the sturdy vernal aromas of yellow fruits, citrus and white flowers.
From the vineyards of Liotrivi Estate where the harvest is carried out by hand at the end of September and the wine has ripened at controlled temperature in oak barrels.
Its discreet aromas make this budding wine ideal as a companion to appetizers and light first courses. It pairs delightfully with fresh cool salads, herbs and fresh seafood. It goes well with soft cream cheeses, smoked salmon, white game dishes with the company of any type of alfredo sauce (for example an exuberant dish of lemon shrimp alfredo pasta).
