Monemvasia Local Wine – DRY RED
Rich red wine created exclusively from the monovarietal array of the locally acclaimed red range of Agiorgitiko. The final produce is well balanced, with good acidity and soft tannins. It is vinified to reveal a distinct intense ruby color, rich taste and the stout aromas of cherry, gooseberry, cedar within a vanilla background. A mild sweetness unfolds within the mouth that thanks to the acidity evolves into balance, while its tannins give it a solid structure.
From the vineyards of Liotrivi Estate where the harvest is carried out manually and the wine has ripened at a controlled temperature within oak barrels for 6 months.
It is beautifully combined with yellow cheeses, pasta, red sauces, braised pork, beef and/or chicken but it can perform as a unique companion to every dinner.
